Writing Voice - the Work of Reconstruction and Healing

I pursue the work of restitution, restoration, and reconstruction in face of the tyranny and violence of abstraction, an extraneous force that is now being institutionalised across the world. I see my work as keeping certain ideals, standards, and virtues alive, encouraging people to live them in communities of practice.

By restitution I refer to the practical restitution of social power and sovereign power and their democratic reorganisation within the body politic by its members; by restoration I refer to the restoration of the forms of the common life, an ecological restoration that encompasses our inherited social and moral ecosystems as well as our natural ones; by reconstruction I refer to a social reconstruction within a greater metaphysical reconstruction.
